Abdul Latif Mahmoud Al Mahmoud

Member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain
Born in 1946 in the city of Hidd in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he studied and absorbed its customs, then joined the Institute of Islamic Missions affiliated with Al-Azhar, from which he obtained his primary and secondary education, then joined the College of Sharia and Law, from which he obtained a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Islamic Sharia. Then he obtained a doctorate from the Zaytouna College of Sharia and Principles in 1984. He was appointed Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies in the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the College of Arts at the University of Bahrain, then Associate Professor of Islamic Studies in 2007. His Eminence currently holds the position of a member of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
