Abu al-Qasim Al-Dibaji

Secretary-General of the World Organization of Pan-Islamic Jurisprudence
Born in 1948 in Isfahan, Dr. Al-Dibaji earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Sciences from the International Union of World Authors in 2000, and a State Doctorate in Fiqh and Madhahib (Islamic schools of thought) from the Islamic Civilization Open University in 2007. He attained the degree of ijtihad (i.e. the process of arriving at judgment on points of religious law using reason and the principles of jurisprudence) in Shia jurisprudence and is certified to issue fatwas in Sunni jurisprudence. Dr. Al-Dibaji founded the World Organization of Pan-Islamic Jurisprudence, an organization dedicated to unifying Muslims across various sects and schools of thought. He has authored numerous publications on the fundamentals and branches of religion. Currently, he serves as the Secretary-General of the World Organization of Pan-Islamic Jurisprudence. He is also a leading figure in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence and interfaith dialogue.
