Born in 1974, Prof. Dr. Ayyad completed his undergraduate studies in Usuluddin (Fundamentals of Religion), specializing in Creed and Philosophy, at Al-Azhar University in 1995. He earned his Master’s in the same specialization in 2000 and his Ph.D. in 2003. Throughout his career, Prof. Dr. Ayyad has held numerous significant positions, including Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Secretary-General of the Islamic Research Academy, General Supervisor of the Centre for Electronic Fatwa, and Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Azhar Magazine. Most recently, he was appointed the Grand Mufti of the Arab Republic of Egypt and Chairman of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide. He is widely recognized for his academic contributions and has published extensively in the fields of theology, philosophy, and logic.
